Background
My name is Ms. Karshan and I am passionate about childcare which resonates in the quality of my home childcare environment. My journey in childcare began when I had my son fifteen years ago. At that time I worked in management within the service industry and also volunteered working with children in Europe and Canada. My love for working with children only grew and it was a no brainer to switch careers which led me to graduating with honours from George Brown College as an Early Childhood Educator. I have worked with children between the ages of six weeks and twelve years at various childcare centers and gathered a wide variety of experience. I volunteer with Scouts Canada as I believe it is important to always give back to the community.
At Bright Sparks Canada I embrace different cultures, ethnicities, and traditions and the daily routine begins with playing the Canadian national anthem in English and French. Our activities will incorporate the richness of diversity to make it an inclusive environment for all. Families are valued and welcome to bring their special skills and talents to be part of their childs learning environment. With the need to preserve this wonderful world in which we live, I will consiously educate the children on how less is more while incorporating recyling and reusing on a daily basis and how doing so makes the world a better place in which to live for everyone.
